Expiring Visitor Badge Sign-in Books
What is An Expiring Badge?
Valid today. Void tomorrow. Our exclusive Expiring Visitor Badges, bound in a book, gradually change color overnight to prevent badge reuse and unauthorized access to your building. A white badge means the visitor has signed in today. A pink “VOID” means the visitor’s presence should be questioned. Powered by THRESHOLD’s innovative, patented technology, our Expiring Badge Visitor Sign-In Books are available in several styles to meet your facility’s needs.
The TAB-Expiring Sign-In Book simultaneously creates a self-adhesive visitor badge that expires and a log of each visitor’s name and information.
To activate the badge, pop the blue label peel tab from the sheet by placing a finger behind it. Peel the visitor badge using the blue tab. Once peeled from the book, fold the tab back behind the badge to activate it.
A visitor wears the ID badge. The visitor logbook serves as a permanent record of everyone who has entered your facility, and can only be seen by office staff. This is because the right edges of the top sheet and duplicate sheet are sealed together to protect privacy.
The FULL-Expiring Sign-In Book creates a self-adhesive visitor badge and an automatic office record at the same time.
To activate the expiring badge, place a white front part badge (the one the visitor signed) on top of a red back part badge. Then hand the visitor badge to the visitor to wear. The entire visitor badge changes color overnight to show the word “VOID”.
Our most economical time-expiring visitor badge option, the DOT-Expiring Visitor Badge Sign-In Book offers simultaneous visitor badge and log book. The book creates a self-adhesive visitor badge and an automatic office record at the same time.
Activate the expiring badge by applying a white front piece dot over a red circle on the visitor badge. Overnight, the word “VOID” shows through the white front piece dot to prevent badge reuse in the future.
The Non-Expiring Visitor Badge Sign-In Book creates a self-adhesive badge and log at the same time.
The visitor wears the ID badge, which tells everyone that they have signed in. The visitor log serves as a permanent record of everyone who has entered your facility. The log book is designed with privacy built in as the right edges of the top sheet and duplicate sheet are sealed together to protect privacy.
Need to sign-in and record visitors to your facility without issuing a badge? The Confidential Visitor Sign-in Book creates a permanent log book. This unique and innovative design makes it virtually impossible for visitors to see who signed in before them.
Two-part carbonless sheets perform two jobs in one step. The white top sheet contains a blackout pattern that sits over top of all names to protect the confidentiality of those signing in. The yellow bottom sheet provides an automatic duplicate record that lets only facility staff to see the names that are blocked out on the white top sheet. The right side of the book pages are glued together to prevent peeking inside.
Student Tracking Books (Tardy Slips, Early Dismissal Slips)
Track late arrivals and early dismissals quickly and easily with our multi-form books that generate Tardy Slips or Early Dismissal Slips. You can customize the design too.
Two-part carbonless forms perform two jobs in one step – the white first part is perforated, so a pass can be torn out to admit or dismiss students, while the yellow second part provides an automatic duplicate record.
The Red Flag feature has been improved! Now you can set your system to not print a badge for any visitor record that has been previously marked with a Red Flag. The attendant will be prompted to redirect the visitor according to your security protocol.
Special New Feature: Red Flag, No Badge
It’s easy and free to activate this feature. Simply call us and ask for “Red Flag, No Badge” to be turned on. Once it’s on, the above pop-up will come up when a red flagged visitor comes back. No badge will print and the attendant will need to follow the facility’s policy for handling red flagged visitors.
The flags and notes only show to the desk attendant, not the visitor.
Please contact eVisitor Support with any questions on how to use Flags in your system.
