FAQs
What is a Badge Tag?
A Badge Tag is a plastic holder for a visitor badge. The visitor badge gets adhered to the front of the Badge Tag. Large, colorful Badge Tags easily identify visitors from a distance. The Badge Tags can be customized just like the visitor badges by kind of visitor, department, day of the week, or floor.
To use the Badge Tags, simply apply the visitor badge to the Badge Tag according to your facility’s security protocol for maximum visibility. Badge Tags also provide an alternative for your visitors who don’t want to apply the visitor badge directly to their clothing.
Badge Tags can be worn with a strap clip, plastic clip, or lanyard. Badge Tags work with all visitor badges. Some styles of Badge Tags are reusable up to six times and other styles are disposable after one use.
Who sells visitor badge accessories?
Threshold offers a wide range of visitor badge accessories. These products allow you to offer your visitors a choice for how to wear the visitor badge. If they don’t want to adhere it to their clothes, there are alternate options for wearing the visitor badge. Badge Tags can be beautifully custom-printed front and back or be stock. Badge Tags can also be reusable or disposable. Pivot Clips and Strap Clips offer a way to attach Badge Tags to clothing. Lanyards, with breakaway technology for safety, also provide an option to wear the badge around the visitor’s neck.

It’s easy and free to activate this feature. Simply call us and ask for “Red Flag, No Badge” to be turned on. Once it’s on, the above pop-up will come up when a red flagged visitor comes back. No badge will print and the attendant will need to follow the facility’s policy for handling red flagged visitors.
